My name is Isabella Littleford, and I bring over a decade of hands-on experience in the world of fashion, always with a focus on how beauty and practicality merge.

Backed by 10+ years in style and design, I’ve had the privilege of honing my craft in Paris, the capital of couture and partnering with renowned design icons worldwide. That experience taught me to recognize exceptional quality, innovative design, and timeless appeal. There’s something endlessly fascinating about Golden Goose sneakers, a brand that effortlessly marries a vintage-inspired edge with impeccable high-end craftsmanship. Here, I’ll walk you through my thoughts on different Superstar models, diving into their style, comfort, and versatility.

If you’re someone who lives for limited-edition sneakers or just wants a polished casual shoe, I’m here to guide you through it all with knowledge gained through a decade in the field. Let’s dive into why Golden Goose sneakers deserve a spot in your lineup!

I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also broken them in well that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

So I’m breaking down a bunch of common questions, as well as how to grab them for less, below! Also, if you’re interested in more try-ons and reviews, check out my Abercrombie vs. Agolde jean shorts review, Goyard tote bag breakdown, and Dudley Stephens fleece review!

Where did you end up buying them?

I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a great deal going on.

I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .

What’s the going rate?

Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

You can expect to pay between four golden goose company hundred bucks and seventeen hundred depending on their design features.

How does the sizing run?

I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.

Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.

Are they comfortable?

They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they help with airflow. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in fake leather. Plus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just get comfortable fast.

How do they perform over time?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.

Would you buy again?

Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also look great.

Discount sources?

Check out my list below. I had a perfect experience with GGoose.org, so I always recommend starting there.

Where did you score your pair?

I found mine on discount via Cettire and purchased them that way!

I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .

How expensive are they?

Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

These sneakers typically range from $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.

How is the fit?

I found them to fit true to size, at least for me. Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.

Are they comfortable?

Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in.

Do they hold up well?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched.

Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
